50th Anniversary GALLIPOLIS - Burdell Rife, son of Floyd and Ina Lemley Rife and Dorothy Darst Rife and daughter of Rev. B. J. Rife and Gertie Ward Darst were married Aug. 17, 1940 at Cheshire. They will celebrate their 50th anniversary as requested by their daughter, Glenna L. Lowmaster, and grandsons Paul and Stephen, with renewing of wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. with a reception following at the Church of Christ in Ridgeway, Hardin Co., Ohio on Aug. 18.
